Day 4 in Alicante and the sun was out (as per usual) and the beach was calling. We decided to try out a new beach but, despite being laden with bucket loads of fine white sand the busy crowds wasn’t for us. We quickly rolled up our mats, slipped shorts over our soggy bikinis and wasted no time in heading back to our favourite secret beach (not a very well kept secret now!). Just as before we were the only people on the beach so made the most of it by frolicking in the waves and enjoying our picnic…
Playing Baywatch was also on the agenda.
As it reached midday our hot skin needed a rest from the scorching rays. It was time to sling on my favourite soft Bungo tee and enjoy the rest of the time on the empty beach!
When we got back home we decided to put the barbeque out of its misery and relight its fire! This time the culinary delight on offer was the dorado- a lovely fish which we had seen on nearly every fish counter and on every restaurant menu, we thought it was time to give it a try. It turned out beautifully and it was nice to be able to try our hand at cooking something we had never tried before!
