Stocking a whole plethora of brands, House of Fraser is the go-to department store on everyone’s high street. Whilst it is no Liberty or Selfridges it is however that friendly face amongst the new shops and changing surroundings of your local town and one which always promises to deliver. So when House of Fraser got in touch and asked for a collaboration with A Stylish Review the answer was yes.
House of Fraser can be a great option if you are looking for those wardrobe staples which will satisfy your summer wardrobe needs whilst seeing you through to the winter months.
7 for All Mankind is one of the most popular jeans brands amongst fashion editors (yes they do wear jeans) and celebrities alike and if it’s good enough for them it’s most certainly good enough for us! White or light grey jeans may instil fear and conjure images of applying vanish stain remover by the bucketload but they are in fact really easy to keep clean and are a timeless necessity for any wardrobe. Wear in summer when it’s not quite hot enough for shorts. As thermometer readings retreat and as bikinis go back into hibernation for a year, white jeans still hold their own. Team with grey knits and ankle boots for an off-duty casual.
A pretty dress for warm summer evenings? Check! A dress which will work with tights in winter too? Check!
This lovely Jaeger number will be the perfect fail-safe option for all occasions and will take you from boardroom to bar. Being such a classic design you won’t have to worry about it being a one hit wonder…it will be welcomed in your wardrobe for years to come.
If you want some 70’s vintage but don’t want the funny smell and lack of washing instructions then Biba is the perfect solution. Relaunched in recent years it is exclusive to House of Fraser and reinvents its old classics. This pleated tunic blouse is versatile enough for you to recreate the Woodstock magic by wearing it for galavanting round at a festival, hair braided with flowers and knee deep in mud or tucked into jeans in winter with layers of cardigans and scarves.
I have friends and relatives who are big fans of White Stuff for the beautifully soft material, quirky designs and down to earth branding but I personally have never bought anything. This may all be about to change very soon since I spied this cosy knit! Lightweight and trendy this will be good for adding a light-layer to your summer outfits in summer as well as being ideal for layering up with knitwear and denim in the winter. The pockets will also be a nice little pop of colour and a reminder of the summer which once was when the autumn leaves are falling and brisk winds replace warm breezes.
