It seems (and has been!) a complete age since my last blog post. Sorry! It was an incredibly hectic few months in which family weddings, dissertations, final exams, interviews, and moving in, and moving out of houses naturally took priority. But I can now proudly say that the time away did pay off. In a matter of days I will be graduating with a first and this week I started a brand new job at Condé Nast. With new friends, new colleagues, a new location and no more revision I will finally be able to get back in the saddle with blogging and update you on all the exciting things I’m up to.
I have just got back from a trip to Zanzibar so you have all of that to look forward to. A good wifi connection was a hard thing to come by and to tell the truth I was more preoccupied with turtles, hammocks and a few good novels. So over the next couple of weeks I will be putting pen to paper (or fingers to keypad) and reliving all of my wonderful African adventures- it turns out this is actually quite a good way of fending off the holiday blues! So hold tight and get ready for dolphins, infinity pools, birthdays and plenty of grilled octopus.
